You now want to move the maps you've located on the Internet to your website.
You also want to show the places / countries-of-origin.

"Windows" has an elementary "Paint" program that let's you easily add your own graphics to maps. To open your map in "Paint" here's what to do.
1. Left click the Windows "Start" button.
2. When the menu appears, place the cursor on "Programs."
3. When the menu appears, place the cursor on "Accessories."
4. When the menu appears, right click on "Paint."
5. When the program opens, place the cursor on "Edit," and left click.
6. Go to the bottom of the menu and left click on "Paste from…"
7. The "Paste from…" window will appear. "Look in" should have "My Documents" written (or wherever else you decided to save the GIF file).
8. Make certain that on the line saying "Files of Type…" you've written "All Files."
9. Double left click the name you gave to your map file.
10. If you're asked whether you'd like the bitmap enlarged say "Yes."
11. Your map should appear.

To draw on your map:
1. Place the mouse cursor over one of the buttons on the left side of the screen (try the straight line) and left click.
2. Place the cursor on the map. It will change to a hairline target.
3. If you keep your finger on the left click button and move the mouse, you'll see that you're beginning to draw a line.
4. If you left click one of the color buttons on the bottom of the screen, and then go back to the map and continue to draw the line, you'll see that the line is now in the color you chose.
5. If you chose the letter "A," you can write a word (like the name of a grandparent).
6. You now have the idea.
Once you've finished, go to the "File" menu, left click, go to "Save as…" write a name for your new map and save.
